Our Name is our Brand
If you were to ask our clients what sort of technology they have in their home or business, they may reply, “An Ogren Electronics system!” Our name is our brand. We began in 1988, installing TV and satellite antennae systems, and you’ll find evidence of our labors throughout Northwood’s homes and businesses. Our commitment to our customers and our community is evident in everything we do and in the stories told by our thousands of satisfied customers.
What we can do for you
Together with our sister company, Terra Nova Integrated Systems of Waukesha, WI, Ogren Electronics is part of Wisconsin’s largest state-owned custom electronics teams. The scope of our abilities, service area, and the technologies we sell, install and service is unmatched in the state. As Dave Ogren says, “We can do that!”
- We can make your little place in the woods a stop on the information superhighway using satellite TV and high-speed Internet systems.
- We can ensure your home and family are safer, even allowing you to check up on things from wherver you are in the world from your cell phone or computer.
- We can eliminate that pile of remote controls near the TV, allowing everyone (not just the “techno geek” of the family) to use and enjoy your home’s entertainment systems, simply and intuitively. No owner’s manual required!
- We can entertain your family with music, movies, TV programming and videogramming – all in glorious high definition and surround sound – and now in 3D!
- We can make your home’s lighting, HVAC, security and audio/video systems do what you want, when you want it, automatically. Imagine how much time, fuss and expense you could eliminate if you could control your home from your cell phone.
- We can help your business or organization keep your customers, employees and facilities safe using the latest in security and surveillance systems.
- We can help you communicate and collaborate with anyone around the world using videoconferencing and telephone systems.
We handle each phase of the of the project from conception to completion, answering your questions and getting your feedback each step of the way.

We are members in good standing of the following:

COMPANY MILESTONES
1988 - Dave and MA Ogren started Ogren Antenna Service, an Eagle River home-based mom-and-pop operation installing TV antennas, big satellite dishes and security/alarm systems.
1994 - First two full-time employees are hired. Ogren Electronics opened their first storefront with showrooms at 4418 E. Wall St. October of that year, the small 18-inch satellite dish was introduced and Ogren’s became the exclusive area dealer of DirecTV systems. The storefront’s large display area opened the opportunity for expansion to include home entertainment systems, large-screen TVs and surround sound. As a member of the National Fire and Burglar Alarm Association and the Wisconsin Fire and Burglar Association, they install custom security systems in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
1997 - January: Ogren’s purchased and moved into the office building on the corner of Wall Street and Silver Lake Rd., downtown Eagle River. Following extensive refurbishing and remodeling, new display areas opened up for displaying state-of-the-art electronics, including home automation systems. MA Ogren became one of two women nationally sanctioned by the highly regarded CEDIA, Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association, as a Certified Professional Designer.
2001 - More staff was added. Ground was broken at the current location for a 7,000-sq.-ft. addition with new office space, custom design centers, spacious showrooms with TVs up to 70 inches, plus retail display space showcasing personal electronics. As a longtime member of CEDIA, the international trade organization that promotes ethics and education in the industry, Ogren’s is continually involved in education and training its staff in design and installation.
2010 - Ogren’s has become one of Wisconsin’s largest independent custom electronics teams with numerous employees and a fleet of service vehicles — offering all facets of low-voltage electronics for homes and businesses. During the summer months, local college students find employment at Ogren’s in a field that many will pursue.
